Very comfy with easy zips. Downside is the stick sleeve for the fencing veil needs stitching all the way to the Velcro tab to stop the veil stick sliding and the veil touching your face

Looks great, Easy to assemble. There was a small crack in the wood...Hope that will not get bad over time....

Delivered tool have different design from what is advertised on the site (see attached photo). It means that the hook has to be grinded to smaller shape and overall it's not the tool as expected. It will do the job, but tool with the shape as on my photo can be purchased for cheaper price almost everywhere.

They should make more of these items. They're a really good deal and maybe add some measurements for fitting frames.

This product is fantastic! it was a good price for a standard product for beekeeping efficiently and easier to pull off! Though, it would be nice if there was 6pcs for 500g bee frames :)

Purchased a 9-frame hive kit last year 2024 - very happy with it and so are my bees, I have just Purchased 2 more hive kits and extra honey supers - getting ready for spring, looking forward to seeing the top feeders come in hopefully soon.

Gave the girls a treat of Fondant cake which after only a few days I have noticed the flight of foragers seems to be with more energy

I tried this out and while it did exactly what it says in the bees being in a state of sleep and followed the instructions which after the final shake revealed no mites so I then added the same sleepy bees into alcohol wash and got 1 mite
I haven’t given up on this but I think I’ll be doing 2 tests until I feel more confident
A few bees remained in the test tube and after sitting out in fresh air after a while they began to awaken

I recently bought a hive and they are doing amazing after a month. It was not just a sale, Graham made sure I am equiped with enough knowledge on the journey. Totally happy with the hive and the service. I wish if I have reached them before, could have save my time and money. Definitely will be back for more items and 100% recommend the shop and the ppl.

Our experience with this service was supremely rewarding, and I honestly wonder how we would have coped or learnt as much regarding start-up without it. You really don’t fully realise the value the option of the service until you have experienced it. The information received was thorough, intensive and supportive. From the best position to house the hive right through to monitoring health of the bees, we were left with a core of expert tutoring. Graham was incredibly patient and spent generous time answering every question, no matter how obvious or complex in nature. There was very much an ‘I do, we do, you do’ process to the service and Graham ensured that when he left, we had the necessary knowledge and skill to go about caring for our hive with confidence. Have not used the smoker as yet. I was hoping that it was a two vent system, but still a solid product.

The double bee brush requires less movement to displace the bee from the frame's inspection areas.

I am just learning about keeping bees so I have not used it yet, I am getting up my food stores at the moment
