Our wooden bee frames are typically made from pine and many beekeepers lean this way because it’s a natural product however we also have plastic frames available for various options which are lightweight and won't rot overtime.

Picking the frames for your hives is one of the many decisions you’ll have to make when buying your first hive or if you're wanting to upgrade your existing frame setup. You can choose between our traditional wooden hive frames or newer plastic models – each has upsides and downsides. Although some beekeepers use a mix of both, or are slowly transitioning to plastic, most prefer one or the other.
