This upgraded 4 frame honey extractor/spinner is electric powered with a speed controller, twin direction, with a powerful 140W motor.

Buzzbee 4 frame honey extractor

Extractor did the job well. I will make some modifications in terms of making new legs (the existing ones are a little flimsy) and will upgrade the speed controller as the existing one is a bit erratic. Then it will be bullet proof. Don't get me wrong, it's a good product but can be improved.

I was thrilled with it. I extracted 20kg out of 8 frames from 1vhive. No problems, easy to use. Made my job easy.

Buzz bee four frame honey extractor

I received prompt delivery of my extractor . I have just finished useing it for the first time . I have only used a couple of other extractors before . I was really pleased at the way I could fit eight ideal frames in the cage . The spread control was a little jumpy but the extraction process didn’t damage any of my comb on wax foundation or my self drawn ( with wires) . It took an ideal box before the honey reached the gate which gave me time to prep the next box however in the last act of draining I needed a long handled spatula as I had screwed the unit down to the floor and don’t wish to need yo unscrew each time . I found the honey gate a bit high on the side really . I used 11 litre buckets under the unit and had the legs to the lowest setting as I’m short and I can easily put the frames in at this setting . I am very pleased with my purchase of the buzz bee four frame extractor and hope for years of service for my backyard apiaries ( 14 hives average )

Easier Honey Extraction.

I did try a manual extractor first. After ¾ of an hour of winding there was still a lot of honey in the frames.
The electric is much quieter and far less effort to use.
I was able to adjust the speed and walk away to let it do the hard work.
It allowed me to thoroughly extract all the honey from the frames.
I would not have had the patience to do that much work manually and would have finished with far less honey.
I am very happy with this extractor.

We have been using this 4 frame electric extractor for a week and it is absolutely fantastic. It takes up about the same room as a manual extractor - without the hard labour involved. It is has an exceptionally quiet motor and is well balanced. An excellent product - very professionally made - and very reasonably priced.

Preparation Guide - Electric Honey Extractor

Before using an electric honey extractor, ensure it's clean and free from any debris or leftover honey. Assemble the extractor according to the manufacturer’s instructions, making sure all parts are securely attached. Place the extractor on a stable surface, ensuring it is level to prevent any imbalance during operation.

Loading the Frames
Carefully uncap the honey frames using a hot knife or uncapping fork to remove the wax caps covering the honey. Place the uncapped frames into the extractor, making sure they are evenly distributed to maintain balance. Overloading one side can cause the extractor to wobble or become unstable during use.

Operating the Extractor
Once the frames are loaded, slowly increase the speed of the extractor to spin the frames and extract the honey. Start at a low speed to avoid damaging the combs, then gradually increase as the honey flows out. Monitor the process to ensure smooth operation, and once extraction is complete, turn off the machine, remove the frames, and clean the extractor thoroughly for future use.
