Buzzbee Beekeeping – Commercial Purchasing Guidelines
These Commercial Purchasing Guidelines are designed to help commercial and semi-commercial beekeepers access Buzzbee Beekeeping’s products efficiently, reliably, and safely. By purchasing under a commercial account, the customer (“Commercial Customer”) agrees to follow the guidelines outlined below.
1. Eligibility
To qualify for commercial pricing, customers must:
- Operate a commercial or semi-commercial beekeeping business, typically managing 50+ hives
- Hold a valid ABN (for Australian operations)
- Provide accurate business and biosecurity registration details
- Submit a completed Commercial Customer Application Form
Buzzbee reserves the right to approve or decline commercial status at its discretion.
2. Pricing & Discounts
2.1 Commercial customers receive tiered discounts based on order size, volume, and product category.
2.2 Pricing may vary throughout the year due to supply changes, raw material costs, or seasonal demand.
2.3 All commercial pricing is confidential and may not be publicly advertised or shared.
2.4 Exclusive offers or bulk rates may be available for large-volume orders.
3. Ordering Process
3.1 Commercial orders may be placed via:
- Buzzbee website (logged-in commercial account)
- Phone

Approved purchase orders (for customers with account terms)
3.2 Orders are processed in the order they are received.
3.3 Large-volume or pallet orders may require additional lead times.
3.4 Backorders, if applicable, will be communicated promptly.
4. Minimum Order Requirements
4.1 A minimum order value may apply to receive commercial pricing.
4.2 Certain bulk items (chemical supplies, hiveware, drums) may have minimum order quantities (MOQs).
4.3 Orders below MOQ or minimum spend may default to retail pricing.
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Standard payment terms for new commercial customers are payment before dispatch, unless otherwise approved.
5.2 Credit terms (7–30 days) may be available after credit assessment.
5.3 Late payments may result in:
- Suspension of credit terms
- Delay or pause in supply
- Return to retail pricing
- Additional fees where applicable
6. Freight, Delivery & Pallet Orders
6.1 Shipping and freight costs are generally the responsibility of the customer unless stated otherwise.
6.2 Commercial customers must ensure suitable unloading facilities when receiving bulk or pallet orders.
6.3 Risk in the goods transfers to the customer upon dispatch.
6.4 Any damaged deliveries must be reported within 48 hours with photos.
7. Product Handling & Compliance
7.1 Commercial customers must store and handle all Buzzbee products, particularly chemical-related items (e.g., oxalic acid, glycerine, treatment strips), in accordance with:
- State and federal regulations
- Industry best practice
- Buzzbee’s Safety Guidelines and SDS sheets
7.2 Products must not be resold, repackaged, or used in a manner inconsistent with their intended purpose.
8. Returns & Warranty
8.1 Returns are accepted on unused, unopened products within 14 days, unless custom-made or special-order items.
8.2 Warranty claims must be submitted with proof of purchase and supporting documentation.
8.3 Buzzbee reserves the right to repair, replace, or refund the item at its discretion.
9. Communication & Updates
9.1 Buzzbee may send seasonal updates, stock alerts, and commercial-only offers.
9.2 Customers are encouraged to maintain current contact details to ensure uninterrupted communication.
9.3 Any operational changes (address, ABN, ownership, etc.) should be reported promptly.
10. Prohibited Conduct
Commercial pricing may be suspended or revoked if customers:
- Abuse commercial discounts or resell products at retail without authorisation
- Provide false information in their application
- Fail to comply with payment terms or safety regulations
- Misrepresent Buzzbee products to other beekeepers
- Engage in conduct that harms Buzzbee’s reputation
11. Amendments
Buzzbee may update these guidelines periodically. Continued purchasing constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines.
12. Acknowledgement
By purchasing under commercial pricing, the Commercial Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agree to follow these guidelines.
