Buzzbee 2 Frame Manual Stainless Steel Honey Extractor made in Stainless Steel This useful 2 frame honey extractor/spinner is manually powered with a smooth turning crank handle. The internal cage holding the frames can be easily spun in a single direction and break if turned the opposite direction. It also features a modern emergency break system for extra safety and convenience. With its easy-to-use design and stainless steel construction, this honey extractor is a reliable yet affordable choice for every beekeeper.

Extractor great but...

... the bucket that we bought to go with it is just a little too tall. We needed to put the extractor up on blocks, which is quite awkward. I think the website only offers one bucket size so presumably everyone who buys this extractor and a bucket are having the same problem?

Preparing the Manual Honey Extractor

Loading the Honey Frames
Begin by uncapping the honeycomb frames using an uncapping knife or fork to remove the wax seal over the honey. Carefully insert the uncapped frames into the extractor's basket, making sure to balance the load evenly. Properly distributing the frames is crucial to prevent the extractor from becoming unstable during spinning.

Operating the Manual Extractor
To extract the honey, turn the crank handle slowly at first, gradually increasing speed as the honey begins to flow out. Maintain a consistent, smooth motion to avoid damaging the honeycomb. After spinning in one direction, you may need to reverse the frames and repeat the process to extract honey from both sides. Once complete, remove the frames, and clean the extractor thoroughly for the next use.
