Description
Honey Collection Bucket for Flow Hive Extraction with Honey Tap/Gate
The Honey Collection Bucket for Flow Hive Extraction is a practical and hygienic solution designed to make harvesting honey from Flow™ hives cleaner, easier, and more controlled. This food-grade plastic honey pail features a specially adapted lid that allows honey to be extracted directly from Flow Frames while keeping the entire process enclosed and protected.
The lid includes a port designed to accept a food-grade poly extraction tube, which extends from the lid into the rear outlet of the Flow Frames. As honey is released from the frames, it flows through the tube and directly into the bucket. This closed system allows honey to drain safely into the pail without exposure to bees, dust, or debris.
The bucket also includes a built-in honey gate/tap, allowing honey to be easily dispensed into jars once the harvesting process is complete. This eliminates the need for transferring honey between containers and helps maintain cleanliness during bottling.
By isolating the honey extraction process, this system significantly reduces robbing behaviour from bees and helps maintain the purity and quality of freshly harvested honey.
Available in 15L and 20L capacities, the Honey Collection Bucket is ideal for hobbyist and small-scale beekeepers using Flow Hives who want a simple and efficient harvesting setup.
